Thanks to Judge Gordon for providing the greatest save in Dodger Town history.  Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.  The McCourts are going to have to sell.

At least that’s how it reads in the Los Angeles Times Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon threw out the marital property agreement – known by its initials as an MPA –because it did not conform to California law.

In doing so, Judge Gordon denied Frank’s claim to sole ownership, while clearing the way for Jamie to restake her claim in the storied franchise.  There’s really only three paths the matter can take from here.  Either they’re going to sell the team to settle property obligations, or, one of them is going to have to buy the other one out, or, Frank’s going to have to come up with some other wildly valid legal theory as to why he should be declared sole owner.  This just goes to show how important it is in family matters to have a knowledgeable and experienced family law attorney putting together the agreements for the parties involved.  Just ask Frank and Jamie.
