There are those who are not fond of the faux-Equality Act.  Like Laurie Higgins, the Illinois Family Institute’s Cultural Affairs Writer who believes the federal Equality Act is a dead on attack against Christianity and women in America. 

The federal Equality Act, was just passed by the U.S. House of Representatives and if passed into law will gut First Amendment protections and effectively ban Christianity and any other religions that teach that homoerotic acts and cross-sex impersonation are immoral, writes Higgins in a beautifully worded article called, Banning Christianity:  U.S. House Passes Faux-Equality Act.  Higgins writes about family values and is very concerned about the long term affects the Equality Act will have on our families if it is made into law.
